Dr. Ruchira DensertSecretary
Dr. Densert, is a board-certified psychiatrist based in the San Diego, California area with over 25 years of experience. She specializes in treating treatment-resistant depression, OCD, and PTSD using advanced neurostimulation techniques like TMS and esketamine (Spravato), along with holistic, medication-based care.
Dr. Ruchira Densert practices psychiatry in San Diego with a focus on interventional treatments for treatment-resistant depression, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and intranasal ketamine. Prior to this, she enjoyed a distinguished 26-year career in military medicine as a Navy psychiatrist, including deployments to Guantanamo Bay and Afghanistan. She remains dedicated to advancing innovative mental health care and serving her medical community. She volunteered to be part of the SAPI EC in 2025 and is honored to be selected for the role of SAPI EC Secretary.
